Description

Expect a major blow to the head from this super-potent strain. A pure sativa, Durban Poison is the beloved inbred descendant of a sativa strain grown in South Africa. Ed Rosenthal, an American cannabis activist, discovered the original strain and brought in back to the United States in the 1970s. It has long been a favorite of stoners and medical marijuana patients here. This strain hits with a strong, happy head high that’s great for creativity and daytime errands. Paranoia may be a possible side effect, along with dry mouth. Durban Poison is an effective treatment for depression and anxiety, as well as chronic pain, and it can also be helpful with nausea. This strain is ideal for making concentrates, as the bud is covered in over-sized trichomes. The dominant smell and taste of Durban Poison is earthy and sweet, with a subtle pine aroma. The buds are round and chunky, with a dense coating of trichomes. This strain is best for active periods, chores, and other daylight activities.

    The effect is of that of a sativa, was skeptical at first, inwas judging a book by its cover. Chores can be definitely accomplished once you throw some music on and get focused, the sativa will do the rest once you put your mind where it needs to be. Good for the motivation in the morning if you’re feeling a bit heavy from the edibles you over ate late the night before. ✌️

    First strain I’ve tried from Haute Health and it didn’t disappoint. I always loved this strain. Sometimes you get a bad batch but most times it is off the charts. This time out it blew me away. I smoked a small pinner (maybe .25 of a gram) and I was rocked for about 75 minutes plus I was up and about and not couch locked. I love me some Durban Poison!!!

    Excellent for the not so heavy smoker. THC level seems decent but week for a heavier smoker. Lovely color and smell. The buzz makes you happy and quite chatty when in a social context but not so strong to cause you to space out 😁 or loose focus. I highly recommend 👍

Don’t let that scare you off though, just take a bit less than usual and you’ll be flying with great sativa active feelings. Very potent stuff for 7$ a gram, wow!
